The Baltimore Ravens and free safety Ed Reed have agreed to a six-year contract extension that will pay the 2004 Defensive Player of the Year a reported $40 million. Reed is a two-time Pro Bowler who was unfortunately plagues by injuries last season, and I think this is an excellent signing for the Ravens. You need to keep a talent like this around, don't you agree?
