Kyle Boller opened Ravens minicamp working with the first team. Brian Billick told reporters "Right now, Kyle Boller is our starting quarterback." But that'll likely last until Steve McNair finally joins the team, whenever that will be. I mean, there's absolutely no chance that Boller will perform so well that he wins the job, or that the Titans decide not to let McNair go to Baltimore. Right?

No way Boeller ends up being the QB. This is the Ravens posturing to gain leverage.

I agree with ThePundit on this matter. Boller is not a great quarterback by any stretch. There is no need to further criticize him, though. I am sure that as soon as McNair climbs into his Ravens' uniform, he will be awarded the starting-quarterback position. I am still wondering about whether McNair will play well this year (and avoid injuries), but he will still be better than Boller.

Boller can come around...stranger things have happened...two totally different QBs though...which one is the Raven offense geared for?

Maybe we do disagree more than I thought Gotham. As long as McNair is healthy, he is the QB. The Ravens are going for it all this year.

Yeah, you don't go get a guy like McNair unless he's your QB. Boller's been a bust, and the sooner Baltimore cuts their losses with him, the better. Keep him around this year, draft his replacement next year, and pray you get 2-3 seasons out of Steve McNair in the meantime!
