Re: Steve McNair contract

An interesting side effect of the Steve McNair arbitration case: the decision included a look at the contracts he was offered by both the Tennessee Titans and the Baltimore Ravens. The Titans offered him "a reshaped, multiyear contract with a signing bonus of $3 million and a 2006 base salary of $2.5 million in early January" while the Ravens offered "a five-year deal that would pay McNair an $11 million signing bonus and a $1 million base salary in 2006 — more than double what McNair would have received in the Titans' January proposal."

No wonder he wants to go to Baltimore! So, will the deal get done?
