McNair to bridge gap for young quarterback

Steve McNair is coming off a season marred by injuries, turnovers and few passes. Yet as the Ravens think about their future, they are counting on a rejuvenated McNair resurrecting his career.
The Ravens are considering drafting a quarterback, possibly using their first round pick on Matt Ryan of Boston college.
McNair had rotator cuff surgery and has gained full use of his left shoulder. He has been regularly participating in off season workout.
McNair turned 35 in February.

McNair's return could aid in Ravens' plans - Sports - (HometownAnnapolis.com)

Thinking about drafting a quarterback? They better do more than think. Or could McNair possible pull it off ?

Well, like I said elsewhere... it's kind of a weak QB draft. If they intend to spend a first rounder they may want to wait another year.

I think they should hold off as well. McNair may not be washed up yet, and they also have Boller. Maybe he has learned something from watching McNair.

yes and hes proven hes the man in baltimore again and again, but seriously they need to draft a qb sooner or later, like lefty said this years draft isnt qb strong but if not this year then definitley next, mcnair is all but done playing and boller isnt that good, their best option right now is troy brown..

I have to respectfully disagree because I think McNair is very much washed up. I also think that despite what scouts said about Ryan and Brohm if they fall to the Ravens they should grab one. Those same scouts were drooling over Ryan Leaf!
