I don't think Smith is a franchise QB...or else he would have been on some teams radar...they got to role the die on a new kid...or they will never win.

I doubt they'll decide to put their future on John Beck's shoulders if that's the case. A benchwarmer for 3 years? Nowadays that's nearly unheard of unless your a career backup.

Exactly what I was going to say. If Beck has anything, Parcell will sit him until he's ready. Like Lefty said, he will go with a veteran qb until then.

Of course Bette. Romo's a great QB, sure he throws a few picks here and there, what QB doesnt, but when dallas needs a big play, romo deleivers.

Re: Ravens to eye quarterbacks

I had a dream last night that Brian Brohm would be a Raven. I think that the dream would fit perfectly as well. Brohm seems to be smart and crafty so I don't think it would take that long for him to learn the game ala Big Ben in Pittsburgh. He doesn't have the raw talent of Ryan but Brohm could pay off for the Ravens. Grab him if he's there guys!
