This morning FanHouse's Josh Alper noted that Cowboys offensive coordinator
Jason Garrett is in Baltimore meeting with the Ravens, and that there was
a good chance he would have a job offer by the end of the interview.
According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, that's exactly what happened, and Garrett is about to be hired by the Ravens as their next head coach. Although a contract has not yet been signed, it appears that Garrett will get the job today. There was talk that Garrett would meet with the Atlanta Falcons about their coaching job, but that apparently will not happen.
For the Ravens, it seems like a good move: Garrett is the league's hot assistant coach, he did good work with the Cowboys' offense (at least, until December and January), and the Ravens simply must get someone in place who can turn their offense around.
