Ravens Vs. Browns

The Baltimore Ravens hope a quarterback change can turn around their fortunes. One already has for the Cleveland Browns. The Ravens go back to Kyle Boller while the Browns hope Derek Anderson rebounds from a subpar performance when these AFC North rivals face off Sunday in Baltimore. Only one game separates Cleveland (5-4) and Baltimore (4-5), but the gap feels much wider given the opposite directions these teams appear to be heading. I have the Browns winning this one by 14 pts.

Re: Ravens Vs. Browns

I like Cleveland to win it, but I think it'll be closer than a two touchdown game. Then again, maybe I've overrating the Raven D.

Because of that only 2 points, I think Lefty has the Ravens D way over rated. This is one of those clubs that are falling apart at the seams. Defense is unraveling, big time.

Re: Ravens Vs. Browns

It was a close one, but then, it wasn't the Ravens D stepping up that made it a close one. So I was right and wrong at the same time.

Re: Ravens Vs. Browns

Why did they review that field goal for so long. It clearly went in, they didnt need to keep replaying it. Call for OT and keep the game going...

Because the refs weren't actually reviewing it - they weren't allowed to. So they had to discuss it and come to a consensus. If they just looked at it, trust me, it wouldn't have taken nearly as long. Makes me wonder exactly why field goals aren't reviewable. You would think any play that would result in points should be reviewable.

Re: Ravens Vs. Browns

FGs are not reviewable because it is often impossible from camera angles to tell if they went within the uprights. The controversy here arises from the possibility that the refs made the right call but with perhaps the help of a replay, which they cannot do.

One thought it was no good, another thought it was good, and as legend says, did they use replay? Because they're not supposed to.
