Re: Bengals at Ravens

Bengals-Ravens Preview

The Baltimore Ravens aren't happy about their first loss of the season. They would like to move past it as well as the Cincinnati Bengals did.
The Ravens will try to rebound Sunday when they host Carson Palmer and the surprising Bengals in a meeting between the AFC North leaders.

Baltimore (3-1) committed a season-high nine penalties in a 27-21 loss at New England in Week 4. The Ravens were twice flagged for late hits on quarterback Tom Brady and each penalty led to a Patriots' touchdown, prompting linebacker Ray Lewis to claim it was "an embarrassment to the game."

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens - Preview - October 11, 2009 - ESPN

In my opinion, the Bengals have really turned their season around since the loss to the Broncos on the lucky catch by Broncos WR at the end of the game to lose in the final seconds. Bengals could easily be 4-0 if it wasn't for this. I am happy to see Carson Palmer healthy and back to the form he was 3 years ago. Ravens lost a tough game to the Patriots which they could have won with a break. I think this could be a good game but probably favor the Ravens in this one.

Anybody think the Bengals have a shot here?

I think the Bengals have a shot, especially if the Ravens keep committing all those penalties. But I dont think Ray Lewis is going to let that happen. The defense got their ears burned after that game I would think.
I am stil going with the Ravens though.
