The Mitchell Report says Brian Roberts admitted use of steroids in 2004. According to the document, Roberts told Larry Bigbie he "injured himself once or twice with steroids in 2003."

No further evidence, so they're going based on Bigbie.

I predicted that he was on it in another thread - He went from like a trillion home runs one year to being a so-so HR hitter. I think it's pretty obvious that he did them. Could I prove it in a court of law? No. But then again OJ simpson was also found innocent.

He went from 18 home runs in 2005 to 10 in 2006 to 12 in 2007. At the end of the 2005 season he suffered a gruesome elbow injury in a collision with Bubba Crosby at first base that threatened his career and weakened him significantly for the entire next season. This exagerated idea that he his a "ton" of home runs one year and hasn't approached that again is ridiculous. Plus, Bigbie accused him of trying steroids in 2003 - a year he hit only 5 home runs in about 2/3 of a season of part time play before establishing himself as a starter in the Majors. Bigbie was still his teammate and still using drugs in 2005... why didn't he have any info on that???

In an interview in Tuesday's editions of The (Baltimore) Sun, Roberts acknowledged that he used steroids "once" in 2003. However, he said he hadn't used steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs since.

In a statement he issued to The (Baltimore) Sun, Roberts said that after the single injection he immediately realized that it was not what he "stood for" or anything he wanted to continue doing. He said he's sorry he did it and said he regrets making what he says was a "terrible decision."

I have never taken anything like this. How long does one shot last. Does it enhance your performance a week..month..how long?

Anabolic steroids don't really do much for you if you take one shot and that's it. Usually, people cycle on (during a period of time), work out, then cycle off (for a period of time).

Depends on what kind of user a person is. If you eat right, use the right supplements/drugs and don't cycle off often, you can probably get pretty big. I'm no expert, but I think this is the basics.

Yep, it's gotta be a cycle - even for legit medical uses. Usually 1-2 weeks on, 1-2 weeks off.
