Finally after years of rumors, the Baltimore Orioles traded perhaps their most well known position player. They dealt Tejada to the Houston Astros for a package of position players and pitchers.

Baltimore acquired OF Luke Scott, RHP Matt Albers, Troy Patton and Dennis Sarfate, and 3B Michael Costanzo.

It will be tough to replace Miguel's potential production, but he obviously wanted out. Good deal for Baltimore?

I don't know. How good are those prospects they got in return? I seem to recall hearing good things about Costanzo.

It's good for the Yankees. He killed them, while at the same time he seemingly hit about .180 versus Boston.

Luke Scott ans Albers aren't real special players. Baltimore got 5 players for Tejada, and I think they got robbed.

If I were Houston, I might have waited a day for this steroid report to come out. At minimum, the price may have gone down a little
