| Re: Orioles Send Ripken To Hall In Style I'll be watching this weekend...Ripken was always one of my favorite players growing up (was one of the reasons I was a Orioles fan as a kid). That Ripken/Alomar DP combo was slick and solid. And oh yeah, that other dude going in this weekend...he was pretty good too. |

| Re: Orioles Send Ripken To Hall In Style If anything, I haven't seen enough mention of the Hall of Fame inductions this year. Maybe that's becuase I barely watch ESPN anymore (that network has gone down the youknowhat lol). |

| Re: Orioles Send Ripken To Hall In Style Good story over a Yahoo! about one Baltimore Ironman ending his streak to honor another: "Baltimore Orioles umpire's attendant Ernie Tyler will end his consecutive games streak on Saturday to attend the Hall of Fame Induction of former Orioles-great Cal Ripken Jr., who owns the all-time record for consecutive games played at 2,632... Tyler, who has worked every Orioles game since Opening Day 1960, was scheduled to leave for Cooperstown, New York, on Saturday morning."
