Bedard's very good, and Nick Markakis (not on your list) is a real up-and-comer, but I think Roberts probably has them edged right about now. Real close with Bedard, though. He's shown me an awful lot this season.

Erik Bedard is my choice... If he had any matter of run-support this year, he'd easily have 12-14 wins and would be the front-runner for the Cy Young award. He leads all of baseball with 175 strikeouts and is 5th in the American League with his 3.05 ERA.

Nick Markakis is really becoming a great player... He can hit to all fields (.293 BA), has good power (10 HR), drives in a lot of runs (64 RBI), scores runs (59 R), can steal bases (13 SB), and is flawless defensively (0 errors in RF).
