ESPN is reporting that Orioles SS Miguel Tejada will head to the DL with a broken wrist, and this will end his consecutive games played streak, which had been 1,152 games (highest active streak in the ML). Tejada will likely miss 4-to-6 weeks. I'd ask how much this would impact the Orioles, but... come on! This is the Orioles. They're not going anywhere with or without him.

How will this effect the chances of Baltimore to trade him? I know he's always one of the bigger names talked about as far as possible trades come July 31st.

Well, from what I heard this morning, it basically kills any posibility of Tejada getting dealt. No one wants damaged goods.
