Well, that was fast. Rumor was McPhail was going to make this move and he sure didn't waste any time getting the ball rolling. So does Girardi take the job?

McPhail may bring him in but as manager but Giardi turned down the Nationals job because he thought they couldnt win i think he may feel the same about Baltimore then he would still have to play the Yankees and Red Sox and Giardi could take the Yankee's job

The offense is hitting about .260 and let's face it, they stand no chance to compete without pitching.

You're right about that, Empire. They really improved their bullpen by bringing in Baez and Bradford and even Scott Williamson but it hasn't worked out...Their starters aren't horrible at all.

NO way I would take the Orioles job unless it was just for learning. There is no chance of ever winning. You have to play in the same division as the Yankees and the Red Sox. That is just asking to be fired.
