I just heard on a local radio station that free-agent righty pitcher Chad Bradford and the Baltimore Orioles have reached an agreement pending a physical. Bradford signed a three year deal worth $10.5 million.

It looks like the O's went the extra mile in offering three years and whether Bradford will be effective in 2009 remains to be seen. However, he was an instrumental part of the Mets bullpen last season.

Again, the Orioles try and sure up their pen.

I can't believe what a great job Baltimore is doing with their pen. First it's Walker, then Baez, and now Bradford. Thumbs up!
