Auburn football academics controversy

According to the Associated Press, Auburn University is currently investigating claims that "a sociology professor, Thomas Petee, repeatedly gave high grades to football players without requiring them to do much academic work." However, it may not directly tie to the football program; non-athletes may also have received similar treatment.
