Ziemba won't face punishment for Coleman's injury

The series of events that led to Antonio Coleman's injury -- and the conflict between Coleman and offensive tackle Lee Ziemba -- are still shrouded in mystery.

Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville, who has presumably seen the film of the play, didn't discuss specific details, although he did say there was no contact between Ziemba and Coleman after the whistle. That conflicts with several eye-witness accounts from players and spectators at the open scrimmage. Kodi Burns called it a "fight;" Sen'Derrick Marks described it as a "brawl."

Here's what Tuberville said:

"It was just two guys competing and he got hurt. There was no intention on either side. Both of them got after it all day long. You're going to have a lot of competition. Anytime somebody gets hurt when you're trying to block them, you kind of feel responsible. But there was zero intention. It was both guys competing all day, each was punching each other right and left. That's football. You just hate something like that ever happens."
