| Tuberville Inducted Into Arkansas Sports Hall Of Fame LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Auburn head football coach Tommy Tuberville was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2008, Friday evening at the annual induction ceremony, held at Alltel Arena in North Little Rock. A native of Camden, Ark., Tuberville was one of 12 individuals that were part of the ASHOF's 50th anniversary class. Tuberville has completed nine seasons as the head coach at Auburn, having led the Tigers to an 80-33 overall record and eight consecutive bowl games. A 1976 graduate of Southern Arkansas University, Tuberville directed Auburn to a perfect 13-0 season in 2004 and the Southeastern Conference title. "It's a tremendous honor to be inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame," Tuberville said. "Having grown up in a small town in Arkansas and spending 25 years of my life in the state, it's a privilege to be in the Hall of Fame with some of my heroes growing up.
