| Borges out at Auburn AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Al Borges has resigned as Auburn's offensive coordinator after four seasons and will not coach in the Chick-fil-A Bowl against Clemson, according to numerous reports Tuesday. Borges helped Auburn to a 13-0 record in his first year in 2004, but the Tigers' offense hasn't been as effective since the departure of stars including Jason Campbell, Carnell Williams and Ronnie Brown. The Birmingham News, The Huntsville Times, the Opelika-Auburn News, WBRC-TV and WSFA-TV all quoted unnamed sources as saying Borges was leaving Auburn. The Times reported that coach Tommy Tuberville informed Borges last week that he had decided to make a change. Auburn athletics officials did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
