| Tuberville not worried about freshman quarterback Burns AUBURN -- After Auburn's 35-3 win against Tennessee Tech last Saturday, true freshman Kodi Burns admitted to some nervousness during his brief appearance in the game. The response struck some teammates as strange, because Burns had already started once earlier in the season, played in tough road environments like Florida and LSU and been on the field in high-pressure situations. Why would a Homecoming game against a Football Championship Subdivision opponent be so intimidating? Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville said he believes that Burns spent too much time worrying about what was supposed to be an extended trial run with the regular offense. Full Story
