For just a moment in the fourth quarter, the game spun away from the Auburn defense quicker than a two-strike, Josh Beckett curveball.
Enter the curveball himself: Ole Miss backup quarterback Brent Schaeffer.
"Coach (Will) Muschamp called us up and said, `It changes the whole game, because he'll run the ball. You'd better buckle down,'" said defensive end Antonio Coleman.
With 13:02 left in the game, Auburn's Wes Byrum seemingly pooched Ole Miss into oblivion, rolling a punt to the 1-inch line when he kicked out of field goal formation.
