| Dominant defense propels AU to 8th straight road win FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - In the final hectic minute and a half, Wes Byrum did it again. So did Brandon Cox. And Auburn escaped Reynolds Razorback Stadium with a dramatic 9-7 victory over Arkansas on Saturday night. Just when all seemed lost, Cox, Auburn's fifth-year senior quarterback who was knocked out of the game briefly on a personal foul in the first half, marched his team 50 yards against an inspired Arkansas defense. He did it against Florida, too. And against Kansas State. Byrum, a true freshman who made a 43-yarder as time expired to beat Florida two weeks ago, got redemption for two earlier misses by kicking a 20-yarder. When Jerraud Powers intercepted quarterback Casey Dick's desperation pass on the final play of the game, the Tigers could celebrate. Or breathe a sigh of relief. Full Story
