Arkansas' other tailback has Auburn's attention, too

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- Chattanooga was doing quite a job containing Darren McFadden, swarming the Arkansas star when he ran up the middle and chasing him down when he went outside. Then Felix Jones took a handoff and sprinted 59 yards for a touchdown -- hardly any defenders were close to him. McFadden is third in the country at 155.8 yards rushing per game, and Jones is eighth at 126.2. But on a per carry basis, Jones is well ahead with 10.5 yards per rush. Although McFadden is the team's Heisman Trophy hopeful, Jones might be Arkansas' top big-play threat when the Razorbacks host No. 22 Auburn on Saturday night in Fayetteville.

No doubt - I really believe Jones is playing the better ball right now, the past couple of weeks. Shame he's been so overlooked, nationally, because of McFadden.

I bet the NFL scouts have payed alot of attention to him. He could go higher in the draft than Mcfadden.

That would surprise me, Tuck. Especially since as recently as Wednesday, I heard someone call McFadden the best running back in college football. I just don't think he is right now. Whether he's getting worn down or what, I don't know. I hope you're right but I fear you're wrong.

Point taken. McFadden won't last long in the NFL if he tries to continually
take on linebackers and safeties.

I watch Cedric Benson playing on Sundays and I see Darren McFadden's future.
