| Balanced Auburn attack lowers boom on 'Dores AUBURN -- Vanderbilt entered Saturday's SEC game at Jordan-Hare Stadium with one of the league's top defensive teams but found it was no match for Auburn's rapidly improving offense. The Tigers hammered the Commodores with a run-pass combination in the first half that produced 324 total yards and 28 points, effectively ensuring there would be no suspense-filled fourth period for the 82,657 spectators. "I am real proud of the offense with the way they came out and set the tone," Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville said after a 35-7 blowout gave him his 100th career victory.
