| Road, sweet road AUBURN -- When Auburn stunned Florida with a 27-17 victory at Jordan-Hare Stadium last October, it wasn't the blocked punt or the big plays that put the Tigers over the top. In fact, said Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville, it was a raucous crowd that refused to be silenced. "I've said many times, our fans won that game for us last year with how they got our players motivated and brought them back in the second half," Tuberville said. Auburn won't have that advantage on Saturday, when the Tigers travel to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium to play Florida. But Auburn's recent track record on the road is tough to match. The Tigers have won six consecutive SEC road games and 12 of their past 13. Auburn's only road loss since the start of the 2004 season was a bizarre overtime defeat at LSU in which kicker John Vaughn missed five field goals. Over the past five years, only two teams -- Southern Cal and Boise State -- have a better record in road and neutral site games. Tuberville said there's no secret to Auburn's road success.
