AUBURN - Sophomore wide receiver Montez Billings, a first-teamer before suffering a hamstring injury early in preseason camp, was not listed on Auburn's depth chart Tuesday and is not expected to play in Saturday's season opener against Kansas State at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Billings, Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville said, "did not practice and will not play. I'd say he's 90 percent. I'd be surprised when we come back next week if he's not ready to go."
Senior offensive guard Leon Hart, out since the final scrimmage of preseason camp with an ankle injury, practiced Tuesday.
"Leon went today, but not full-speed all the time," Tuberville said. "He could play."
Hart is also not listed on the depth chart.
Blackmon ready to play: Finally, for the first time since his senior year at LaGrange, Ga., High School, sophomore middle linebacker Tray Blackmon is preparing for a season opener.
Blackmon was suspended for last season's opener and was redshirted the previous season.
