Auburn 2007 Football Schedule

The Auburn football team will open the 2007 season with four consecutive home games, including a season opener against Big 12 opponent Kansas State. It will mark the third all-time meeting between Auburn and Kansas State and first since the Tigers defeated the Wildcats, 26-18, in 1979 at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Re: Auburn Announces 2007 Football Schedule

Here's the full schedule, for those interested...

2007 AUBURN FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

DATE OPPONENT LOCATION
Sept. 1 KANSAS STATE AUBURN
Sept. 8 SOUTH FLORIDA AUBURN
Sept. 15 MISSISSIPPI STATE AUBURN
Sept. 22 NEW MEXICO STATE AUBURN
Sept. 29 at Florida Gainesville, Fla.
Oct. 6 VANDERBILT AUBURN
Oct. 13 at Arkansas Fayetteville, Ark.
Oct. 20 at LSU Baton Rouge, La.
Oct. 27 OLE MISS AUBURN
Nov. 3 TENNESSEE TECH [HC] AUBURN
Nov. 10 at Georgia Athens, Ga.
Nov. 24 ALABAMA AUBURN

Florida, Arkansas, LSU and Georgia all on the road? Ouch. Interested to see how South Florida holds up against the Tigers, and as always, the Iron Bowl will be something special. Can Auburn continue their dominance in that game, despite the new regime in Tuscaloosa?

Auburn's road schedule looks like the road games Bama had last year. Bama played at LSU, at Arkansas, at Tennessee and at Florida.

Makes me wonder if 2007 Auburn Tigers = 2006 Alabama Crimson Tide. That could be 3-4 losses right there.

They may have a tough road schedule but nevertheless, they will still be able to end their regular season by pouncing on the Crimson Tide.

Way too early to predict that one, let's see how the season pprogresses. Bama has lost 5 in a row to Auburn, don't count on 6 untill gametime. Auburn is a very talented team and they are well coached but if Bama can inprove their red zone offence by 50% over last season that would be at least + 4 wins.

Ah, now see... it's hard to try and bait you when you have such well-reasoned responses. But my previous joking aside, you're absolutely right. You can never predict the outcome of any rivalry game, especially this one. The Tide will be a better team this year, there's no doubt about that. Should be a good match-up.

Before you go orange & blue you may want to see what they look like after the Georgia game. How many time has a school overlooked someone because they were planning for a rivalry game? Honestly I hope Auburn is undefeated as Alabam will be when they play. That's when the fur will fly but Alabama will win a tough game on the road. Then Florida gets thiers...

Countless. Just look at both OSU and Michigan's games last year before they faced each other, and that's just one example. Happens all the time. What's really unforgivable is when a team overlooks their rivals ala USC last year, with UCLA. No excuse for that.

Re: Auburn Announces 2007 Football Schedule

After what Arkansas did to them last year I think Tubby will keep them focused and you better believe the returning players will use that for insiration before taking the field against anyone.
