Auburn Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs

Never in my wildest dreams, at the start of the season, did I picture this being the 9-1 Auburn Tigers, who are almost certainly going to be a top 5 team this week, against the 6-4 Georgia Bulldogs, fresh off a loss to KENTUCKY of all teams! But here we are. What should have been a thrilling match-up appears now that it will be a one-sided affair, with the Tigers winning easily. Do the Dogs have any chance at pulling the upset?

Re: Auburn Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs

Wow, what is going on here? Georgia is rolling over Auburn right now, 24-0 in the 2nd quarter? Tigers only have 22 yards of total offense at this point, while the Georgia Qb Stafford is 8-of-11 for over 150 yards in the first half.

Re: Auburn Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs

Upset?

Upset?

You mean like a 24-0 lead by Georgia in the 2nd quarter?

The Bulldogs are killing #5 Auburn so far. They just picked off a pass & ran it back for a TD.

What happened to the team that lost to both Vanderbilt & Kentucky in the same season for the 1st time since 1973?

Huge game for the Dawgs so far!

Re: Auburn Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs

Auburn's Brad Lester just ran one in from 21 yards to cut the deficit to 17, but they've still got a long way to go to come back.

Re: Auburn Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs

I watching that game as well and Georgia is dominating on both sides of the ball. Unless Auburn can rally in the 2nd half, then there goes one of the 1 loss teams. Can't wait to see what the rest of the day bears out.

Georgia scored again.....30-7 block xp

I thought Georgia might pull out the win, sure never expected domination.

Re: Auburn Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs

Brandon Cox throws *another* interception. Is that 3 or 4 today?

30-7 with 8:43 left in the 3rd.

Looking like Georgia should be able to finish this one unless a different Auburn team shows up in the 4th quarter.

whoa! Matthew Stafford fumbled for the 2nd time today. Auburn recovered to stop this Georgia scoring drive.

37-15 with 12 minutes left. Great game unless you're pulling for Auburn.

Re: Auburn Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs

Looks like there will be one less 1 loss team to worry about....next.

This is going to be an excellent day for collage football.

I can't believe UNC held Ga.Tech to 7. Thats almost as good as a win for UNC. Iwas kinda hopen for the up set.
Oh well maybe Duke will beat Ga. Tech...

37-15, Georgia win. Tra Battle picked off three passes for the Bulldogs, taking one back for a score, and Georgia outgained the Tigers 446-171. Huge win for UGA and a devestating loss for Auburn.

Re: Auburn Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs

Somebody please show me the great quarterback from the SEC. I'm still waiting. And I will be for a long time, because there aren't any. These teams may be deep at alot of positions, but not one of them has the QB to distinguish themselves form one another. Give me the teams that have a quality QB, like USC, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Michigan any day over these guys.
