Auburn built a huge first-half lead and coasted through the second half to beat Furman 63-31 at homecoming Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
It was 42-3 at the half.
Auburn didn't play its starters in the second half. Furman took advantage with four second-half touchdowns, including one with less than a minute to go.
Wide receiver Anthony Gulley had a nice second half for the Tigers, scoring twice on runs, including a 50-yarder in the fourth quarter.
Auburn improved to 7-3, spending much of the game resting up for its final two regular-season games against Georgia and Alabama.
