Today the NHL playoff picture is a little clearer. The Washington Capitals beat the Atlanta Thrashers 6-4 to eliminate the Thrashers from the playoffs. It's funny, I never hated Atlanta, just sat in awe at their inability to lose. Then the Caps take it away from them.
Seems odd, a team with Hossa and Kovalchuk and Bondra not getting in - some amazing players are sitting on the sidelines.
Tonight it's a battle between TO and Atlanta to see who ends up 9th and 10th. Atlanta plays Fla. We play Pittsburgh. Gives the last game some steam.
