It was same old, same old Monday night for the Atlanta Thrashers, as the club lost their 8th straight game to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Darcy Tucker scored two power-play goals, and Tomas Kaberle also put one in the net with Atlanta down a skater, in the 4-2 Toronto victory. One of these days, the Thrashers are going to figure out how to beat this Maple Leaf club, right?

Atlanta is a good team they are winning on the road as well as home...and they got young stars...they won't lose often to the Leafs in the near future...this is a playoff bound team. Hot goalie, good offense...they can drop one early.

Gotham do you have a blue and white hate-on right now? We skated rings around those guys, figured out easy how to score on a hot young goalie - yeah they are a good team, but predicting they are going to figure a way around us soon is hopeful.
Are any of the big thrashers looking to go elsewhere come season's end right now, i wonder?

Unfortunately this Mod thing has me chained down to performing a balancing act...someone has to stick up for the Thrashers...and the Russian kid is on my fantasy team...so...I am providing balance...and its a Southern team.

I didn't realize us "mods" had to be impartial.
I wonder if Kovalchuk will just ever up and leave the Thrashers. he must've been pleased to see hossa come - give the team more depth, gradually, plus they have a good goalie.

Mods don't have to be...but we can't have you, me, and Lefty all singing the praises of the Leafs...that makes for a very short post...soooo...I took the Kovalchuk side...that and I am bored...I have to mess with ya for fun...so in short...yeah, the Thrashers are going to thrash the Leafs from here on out, and Kovalchuk is going to get me a bucket full of goals...
