The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to acquire veteran point guard Mike Bibby from the Sacramento Kings. Hawks owner Michael Gearon Jr. says the Hawks are to send four players to the Kings. Among them are 2007 first-round pick Shelden Williams and starting point guard Anthony Johnson.The Hawks also would send guard Tyronn Lue and veteran forward-center Lorenzen Wright to the Kings. Gearon says the deal is expected to be completed Saturday.
Bibby missed the start of the season with a thumb injury but is averaging 13.5 points and 5.0 assists in 15 games.

This is pretty dumb. Atlanta is a team that's BUILDING. Why are they getting an old player for? To make the playoffs? Why? So Boston or Detroit can dispose of them in 4 games?

I actually like the move, trading Williams won't hurt much like because they have like five big men. Now they have a dynamic duo in the back court. In a conference as weak as the East this is a great move.

The Hawks are 2-8 in their last 10 games and even with Bibby they have no chance of beating Boston, Detroit, or Cleveland.
