Yesterday during practice, Marvin Williams broke his left hand and is expected to miss 6-8 weeks of the NBA season. This sucks in particular for fantasy players who chose him in the middle-late rounds expecting him to put some big numbers up with an increased amount of playing time (like myself). I guess we'll have to wait a couple of months for that to happen.
For the Hawks, they'll lose a starter so you can expect others like Childress, Smith and even Speedy Claxton to try and make up for the big guys absence.
