| Re: Tony Gonzalez Headed to Atlanta Two things here. 1. Yes, this deffenitley upgrades Atlanta. Think about what they are buliding around Matt Ryan here. Matt Ryan is already a great QB, but think about this, they have Roddy White and Michael Jenkins at wideouts. 10 touchdowns combined. Not to mention Harry Douglas who is a good across the middle aggressive reciever. Now they added Tony Gonzalez who is another reciever for Ryan, but will also help with blocking for their great running back, Michael Turner. They draft a good offensive lineman in the draft, and I say their offense is set to do some serious damage. 2. As for the Cheifs, some say this trade worked out well for both sides, I don't really agree. I think if they want to win this year, they need an offense to go around Matt Cassel. He is not enough. He is a premier position but no way will he carry that offense by himself. There are some other good players, but I don't think there are enough there. If they want to go to rebuilding mode, then fine. However I think they should have sought for more than a 2nd round pick in 2010. Cassel should be ready to wait atleast 2-3 more seasons with the Cheifs for another play-off run. |

| Re: Tony Gonzalez Headed to Atlanta Lost in all this is where does this leave KC? It'll be interesting to see where Kansas City will be picking in next year's draft... Gonzalez moving to Atlanta can be huge because aside from the QB and WRs, don't forget, they also have the stud RB Michael Turner! San Diego was very competitive with LT, Antonio Gates and no real WRs to speak of so when you throw in decent WRs into the mix, you are looking at a team that can be a contender. It remains to be seen if their defense and ST can compliment the offense but I for one am happy that Atlanta is no longer in the NFC West! (Yes for those of you thinking I've gone off my rocker, at one point years ago, Atlanta and New Orleans were both in the NFC West! Go figure...)

I'm more worry about the Patriots being a SuperBowl contender, and how about the Cowardboys they always seem to be lurking around the Playoffs. |

The COWBOYS generally are lurking, but I have to say it because most certainly someone else will. Lurk is about all they do. And there is absolutely nothing about this team right now that is screaming Super Bowl here we come. They had the talent last year and look what happened. I dont think they have made the changes they need to, but time will tell I guess.

As far as the Cowboys, they are only lurking because they are they are the Cowboys
