Do or die time for Michael Vick?

Is this a make-or-break year for Falcons QB Michael Vick? "It could be," says Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports. "But this all depends on what you think of Vick's standing in Atlanta. Is he untouchable? Most people in NFL circles would say he is – a coaching staff would be retooled before Vick would be traded or allowed to leave – but there is a growing minority in the league that believe Vick will never be able to reach a Super Bowl level if can't become a more consistent and effective passer."

Unless Vick improves tremendously as a passer in 2006, would the Atlanta Falcons be better off planning their future without him?

Come on now Lefty...who would really give up on an athletic freak of nature like Vick?..Do you know the man averages 6.9 yards a run, and opens the run up for Dunn and Duckett...and he lacks receivers...its not all his fault...get him some go too receivers and he will turn out nicely.

Re: Do or die time for Michael Vick?

You can't put everything on his receivers, DK. Vick as a passer is pretty lousy. He makes some bad decisions and some worse throws. He's a phenomenal athlete, but does he really give Atlanta the best chance to win football games? I don't think so. I think a guy who doesn't make mistakes and manages the game would be a better fit for the Falcons, and I think they have their guy on the bench in Matt Schaub. I know I probably sound crazy, but I honestly believe that.
