Atlanta Falcons Sign Matt Ryan

The Atlanta Falcons have announced the signing of first-round draft pick Matt Ryan, the third overall pick in last month's NFL draft.

Adam Schefter of NFL Network is reporting that the contract is a six-year, $72 million deal, with $34.75 million guaranteed. That would make it a more valuable contract than the one first overall pick Jake Long signed with the Dolphins, although Long gets to become a free agent a year earlier than Ryan does.
