This is the kind of news I have long hoped would come out of the Falcons front office

The Atlanta Falcons have been ridiculed for some of their recent decisions, but are said to be ready to shake things up on draft day. After what must seem like an eternity of negative publicity, the organization has taken a positive approach to the offseason in an attempt to improve the team’s image. According to insiders, the club is taking the term “image is everything” to heart.

So what are they gonna do to improve their image? This is a team that once had a coach that left ticket for Elvis for every game. The Falcons have always been kind of laugh. Even their NFC Championship in '98 is somewhat forgettable. They should just draft Matt Ryan or Brian Brohm, work hard at improving the on field talent and never mind the catchy slogans. Image isn't everything in pro-sports, winning is.

I think the "image of late has been hip hop" with vick and meangelo gone perhaps we can build a football team. I see a movment towards people you wouldn't mind having as neighbors - something I can't say about many of the former players.

Since Blank bought the team at least he has tried to bring the right people in and this time may have nailed it. Is Elvis in the building

Clearly, this is a team that's trying to clean up its locker room while still acquiring talent. Nothin' wrong with that.

So Brohm now is ahead of Ryan in the quarterback prospect category? Wow those scouts really didn't like Ryan's tryout! I gotta check the draft boards here and find out.

In some circles for sure. I think the scouts are impressed with his ability to adjust to 3 different schemes in 3 years. Plus he evidently threw lights out in his on campus proday.
