Falcons defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, who has been told by the team that he will not be considered for the head coaching job, has been granted permission to interview for the Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator job, a person with knowledge of the situation told the AJC.
Zimmer is interviewing today.

I think Zimmer did a pretty good job considering the issues he had to deal with - no offense to control the clock, injuries and poor draft picks. I think he will do well as a DC.

Yeah ...but as head coaches quality they are not imo. But they won't be around anyway once the new staff is put into place in all likelihood. New HCs generally scrap things and start fresh. And this franchise needs to be gutted anyway.
