TE Crumpler makes decisive TD catch

By STEVE WYCHE

Charlotte — In a battle of anemic offenses, the Falcons were just a little better — defeating Carolina on a touchdown pass with 20 seconds remaining.

Hey, at least it's progress. The Falcons won their second straight game.

Cool Re: Falcons Beat Panthers

It's tough to win without a QB.

My thoughts exactly! Not that big of an accomplishment on the parts of the Falcons.

And you think WE have a QB?

Actually I'd prefer the Falcons lose all remaining games. I'm more interested in draft picks.

I'm starting to feel the same way Garron. Let's put in the Olsen kid who was on the practice squad and start preparing for next years draft.

I hear ya. For us Harrington's the "best" right now which isn't saying much. But the rest of the starters could just be benched and bring in the pine riders and let's work towards draft picks. I'd prefer that as opposed to getting 5 or 6 wins and ruining our chances at good high draft pick choices at some key positions we need (like QB for instance).

You have to watch out for the pine riders. In 2004 when Carolina had all those hurt players, they still almost made it to the playoffs using a 4th string running back, back up WR's, and many more.
