One of the most important lessons Falcons center Todd McClure learned as the son of a coach was that he should only have to be told something once.

Coaches' sons make mistakes like everybody else, but they learn quickly the value of not repeating them. McClure has used that knowledge to cultivate a nine-year career with the Falcons — second in longevity only to linebacker Keith Brooking — and 88 consecutive starts.
