The Falcons waived defensive end Derrick Jones from the practice squad and re-signed cornerback Brent Grimes to the practice squad on Wednesday.
Grimes, 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, spent the first seven weeks of this season on the practice squad before being signed to the active roster on Oct. 29. He was waived from the team three days later.
