Well I personally think it's kinda early to be comparing them to the pre-historic falcons teams that couldn't win and rank them as "worst ever" but they definitely do stink right now:

With nine games remaining, there is no way to know for sure where this Falcons season may fall in order of impotence.

But any year that comes unraveled in a way almost beyond the reach of fiction — dog fighting? — certainly deserves consideration for worst-ever.

'Tis the season that began with protesters outside the team gates, only to have more pop up within the locker room. It is the season where a new coach, thinking he got the mansion, instead inherited only the mudroom.
And, by the way, one more injury and the Falcons may just go with 10 on offense.

This much can be said with certainty: "To be 1-6, it hurts. It hurts deep. People don't really understand that," said linebacker Keith Brooking, the longest-tenured Falcon.

These Falcons are not alone in their pain. Generations of players before them have endured unspeakably bad runs.

Worst ever - hardly. The big question now is do you play the balance of the games to improve your draft position or to improve your record Or possibly play the younger guys more and build for the future. Tough time for the Flowery Branch think tank (assuming they are thinking)

Play all the young guys. You could use the excuse that you are getting them experience while trying to better your draft pick.

I agree about the players. I'm more interested in draft picks and the future.
