Falcons quarterback and Atlanta native D.J. Shockley spent the eight-week anniversary of an operation to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee Tuesday by having team trainers bend the joint to where the pain was near indescribable.
The University of Georgia product discussed several topics with AJC Falcons beat writer Steve Wyche including how he thinks he could be starting for the 1-6 Falcons and why UGA coach Mark Richt's apology to the SEC was probably the easiest letter he ever wrote.
