| Possible Draft Picks According to Ledbetter's opinion, ie. If the draft were held now ... | ajc.com [scroll down in article to this portion] ATLANTA (1-6) Needs: Quarterback, defensive line, offensive line, safety Possible pick: Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville The real deal: Petrino would re-unite with his former quarterback. But some have BC's Ryan rated ahead of Brohm. "The quarterback from Boston College is head and shoulders above all of them," said Mayock, a Boston College alum and former safety with the New York Giants. "I watched four game tapes from those three quarterbacks' junior year. Ryan, Woodson and Brohm. The way I had them rated coming into the season was Ryan one, Brohm two and Woodson three. "I've kind of flip-flopped Woodson and Brohm after watching more tape this year. A lot of NFL people believe that Matt Ryan could end up being the top pick of the entire draft, but he will certainly be the first quarterback taken." Woodson also has his supporters. "I'm not sure if you went around the league and talked to all of the teams, that about 20 of them would have Woodson at the top of their lists," Salisbury said. "Woodson is the rawest of the group and has the most potential." |

| Re: Possible Draft Picks Can Brohm fit in Petrino's scheme and also will any other team (Dolphins) want him before the Falcons can get to him? Obviously they are familair with each other so Brohm and Petrino could be a match made in heaven but would the Dolphins or Rams want Brohm? By the way I think Petrino needs some time to rebulid this team. He was great in college and he'll be great in the NFL and these vetertans who trash him need to be traded for guys who'll fit in Bobby Petrino's system. Petrino can coach in the NFL I think. He's not Steve Spurrier no matter what his players say to the press. |
