| Rookie Houston making his move at cornerback By D. ORLANDO LEDBETTER The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Published on: 10/18/07 Flowery Branch — Rookie cornerback Chris Houston played extensively in the second half Monday night against the New York Giants and appears set to move ahead of Lewis Sanders for the starting position. Houston worked with the No. 1 defense in practice Wednesday and is preparing to start Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. "He did; he took the snaps," Falcons coach Bobby Petrino said. "Lew was a little bit banged up. He was out for about half of the practice today, so we'll just wait and see." Houston held up in coverage and made five tackles against the Giants.
