| Falcons Pull Harrington ...in the 4th with over 10min remaining. Replaced him with Leftwich which did absolutely nothing. QB controversy only one of Falcons' problems | ajc.com |

| Re: Falcons Pull Harrington We absolutely do not have a decent QB imo. I'm thinking though that how Leftwich plays in practice this week will determine whether he gets the nod as starter next week. Otherwise business as usual with Harrington. This is an excerpt from Jeff's article (and that 4th down sack was Leftwich down at the goal line trying to score at the end of the game and he looked like he had cement shoes and unable to move): Tennessee tried to hand the Falcons this game. They committed five turnovers. Four of the Falcons’ last five possessions started at the Titans’ 42, 45, 21 and 19. The results: interception, missed field goal, interception, fourth-down sack. |

| Re: Falcons Pull Harrington You got it - our QB's are just a bunch of factory rejects. Of course in Petrino's defense (and it's tough for me to defend this QB issue) he did think Vick would be his starter. But adding on Leftwich recently? No excuse. A lot of us UGA folks were hoping Petrino would pick up David Greene. I felt DG's style would fit into Petrino's offensive scheme. There was an article that they inquired of his agent but nothing else ever came of it. Typical Falcons. Am wondering if the Falcons will go for a QB in their draft this year...I'm thinking they have to. And they probably don't want to waste another QB draft pick since they have some other serious problems but we can't continue down this road. |
