Re: Vick Apologizes 'From the Heart'

Well, I thought he was fun to watch as a quarterback, but I dont think much of him as a person either. But everytime he talks or someone talks about him on tv, I think what a waste. I hope he turns his life around too.

What I don't understand is people that just want to see him lose his job in the NFL etc...look, if a person does his time and pays his debt...he should be allow to finish his career...what's left of it anyway...I think all dog issues aside...people really want to see a rich person that made poor decisions go down in flames money wise.

ill tell you bro, im really struggling with this .... Lord knows my mind doesnt work like the rest of society ..... im not so quick to forgive

part of me wouldnt mind seeing him back in the NFL (of course not on my team) .... and the other part of me wants to see him rot in a pit for his final days on earth for what he did (sorry, cant help how i feel)

I have no problem with a return if he does his time and suspension, If a teams willing to take a chance on him ,why not..thats the hard part though, whos gonna want the baggage..

You are struggling with this because he hasnt served his time, done his suspension, or showed he has changed. Just because he says he has a change of heart, I'm not forgiving him yet either. Three or four years from now, the air will have cleared a bit. Too many lies and emotions swirling around now.

the more i think about it, the more i think youre right

i actually was a Dallas fan (and the Pats) long ago .... but when all their legal troubles started i couldnt stand with them ...... Michael Irvin was the last straw for me when he was busted in the hotel room ..... but now i dont mind him ...... i have forgiven him and would take him on my team if he could still play

One thing that stood out to me he said made an immature mistake is me coming past curfew an immature mistake is my sister forgetting to clean to clean her room. But doing something illegal for 6 years is not an immature mistake.

That sums it up for me.

Bye Vick, don't come back to the public spotlight when you are done either.

I've heard more than enough about ya.

Re: Vick Apologizes 'From the Heart'

As far as whether he should be allowed in the NFL after he serves his time (in jail and NFL suspension), I think it's 50/50. He blatantly lied to the NFL Commish and with all the individual problems (Chris Henry, Pac man, the Bears DT), they aren't just going to wash things away anymore.

It should be interesting however to see how many tryouts he gets in a couple of years or whenever he's back.

If he did his time, I'd give him a tryout...and ban PETA from the building...
