now that we got that straight .... how is it "we" care more about Vick then the other crimes you listed ? ....... does it perhaps only appear that way because THIS IS A SPORTS FORUM ?

personally, i think murderers, rapists and child molesters should all face the death penalty ....... id only like Vick to go to jail for a couple years and be suspended from football ........ guess you were wrong

i went ahead and added a poll to this thread, seemed fitting to what we're talking about

i voted for the same suspension as the jail sentence .... seems a fitting standard to set ........ if someone goes to jail for 60 days they can sit out for 60 days, and so on

One of the poll options is to have the suspension the same length of time as the sentence. Didn't the NFL already state that the suspension would be activated after his jail sentence ??? That is the way I was hearing it on the news anyway.

that may be, but i mean if he is sentenced to 18 months ...... then when he gets out of jail he should be suspended from the NFL for 18 months .......... hence the same amount of time

Do you guys think Vick will get an audience with the commish before sentencing?

Should the commish even consider a meeting? I say no - let the courts run the course and then meet or just announce the suspension. I can't for the life of me figure out why Vick thinks should get an audience with the commish - he had one and told nothing but lies.

That's fine. Just wanted a little clarification before I voted. Actually it was my lawyers. Didn't want to get caught in some legal mess up.
