If he spends 18 months in prison, then gets suspended for a year at least, and at that time not allowed any where near the NFL, he's going to have 2 and a half years with no connection and no where to train except on his own. Those will be some very, very tough odds. He will have to fight as hard as those dogs did to make it.

Mickey Spagnola, Cowboy columnist, was responding to a fan. Apparently there was a rumor on some Cowboy blog that Vick could go to Dallas. (Yeck!) He said Vick was done as a quarterback, if for no other reason than quarterbacks are supposed to be held at a higher standard. He did say, however, that maybe Vick could remake himself as a wide receiver or running back. (Not at Dallas)

I heard the same thing on ESPN. I guess it could happen. He's definitely a good enough athlete to make the transition.

and let the healing begin, just take deep breaths in and out..first, what martha stewart did and what mikey vick did is two different things, martha got a insders tip and cheated the stock market, vick killed several dogs, now whether you or I or anybody else cares about animals is irrelevant, laws are laws, martha did her time, vick will do his, will vick get a 2nd chance like martha did, I dont know, it depends if he gets more jail time than expected, he could face up to 40 yrs, then again he could possibly get 2 yrs, I will say if he does his time and suspension from the nfl and some team wants him then by all means he deserves a 2nd chance, but I personally lost all respect for him...

btw do you have a link to where peta went to court for doing wrong to animals, id be interested in reading..

Not sure who "WE" are. Some people want to ban green vegetables but that doesn't mean we all do. Check around and you'll find many, many groups who save the greyhounds.

We can put a serious crunch on the reproduction of animals if we really want to but intentionally killing them is not the answer.

Like I said before ,laws are laws,Its irrelevant whether you think killing dogs is ok because other animals are killed. Its illegal to kill dogs. Let me ask you this atlstreetz, Has Vick shown any remorse for what he did? All the broken laws and all the lying to his team, coaches, nfl and fans. What about all the dogs that have been hung or drowned or simply shot. Do you think anyone seriously believes he pleaded guilty because he feels guilt, or is it because the govt. has a crap load of evidence against him?
