Re: Falcons 2006 NFL Schedule

Here's the week by week breakdown of the schedule.

ATLANTA FALCONS
---------------

SEP. 10 at Carolina 1:00
SEP. 17 TAMPA BAY 1:00
SEP. 25 at New Orleans 8:30 (Mon.)
OCT. 1 ARIZONA 1:00
OCT. 8 Bye
OCT. 15 NY GIANTS 1:00
OCT. 22 PITTSBURGH 1:00
OCT. 29 at Cincinnati 1:00
NOV. 5 at Detroit 1:00
NOV. 12 CLEVELAND 1:00
NOV. 19 at Baltimore 1:00
NOV. 26 NEW ORLEANS 1:00
DEC. 3 at Washington 1:00
DEC. 10 at Tampa Bay 1:00
DEC. 16 DALLAS 8:00 (Sat.)
DEC. 24 CAROLINA 1:00
DEC. 31 at Philadelphia 1:00

Wow, they start with three divisional opponents, and 8 of their 16 games are against 2005 playoff teams (Tampa Bay, Carolina, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Washington and the New York Giants). That's not what I'd call an easy schedule by any stretch of the imagination. Can this possibly be a .500 team this season?

Cool Re: Falcons 2006 NFL Schedule

Agreed Lefty: This schedule is hard. I think they can go 7-3 in their first 10..... And they better...Because after that, their schedule becomes impossible.
